Os invito a descubrir lo que puede hacer por nuestra salud y como colof\u00f3n, el pr\u00f3ximo d\u00eda os traer\u00e9 una <a title=\"Ver: crema de chiriv\u00edas y jengibre\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conasi.eu\/blog\/recetas\/crema-de-chirivias-y-jengibre\/\" target=\"_blank\">receta<\/a> ;).<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p>La <strong>chiriv\u00eda<\/strong> (<em>Pastinaca sativa<\/em>) es una <strong>ra\u00edz de la familia de las Umbel\u00edferas, muy relacionada con la zanahoria<\/strong>, aunque m\u00e1s p\u00e1lida y con m\u00e1s sabor que \u00e9sta. Tambi\u00e9n <strong>es conocida como zanahoria blanca, apio de campo o pastinaca<\/strong> y era muy importante en la cocina popular europea hasta la aparici\u00f3n de la patata.<strong> Crece bien en lugares muy fr\u00edos<\/strong> y quiz\u00e1 por eso su consumo es m\u00e1s popular entre la poblaci\u00f3n del Norte de Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Su consumo es t\u00edpico formando parte de caldos, sopas y pur\u00e9s, esto es, despu\u00e9s de un per\u00edodo de cocci\u00f3n. La <strong>ra\u00edz de chiriv\u00eda no presenta ning\u00fan tipo de contraindicaciones para la salud<\/strong> pero las hojas contienen una sustancia conocida como furanocumarina, que en contacto con la piel produce una urticaria.<\/p>\n<h3>La chiriv\u00eda es rica en fito-nutrientes, vitaminas, minerales y fibras<\/h3>\n<p><strong>La fibra en la dieta ayuda a reducir los niveles de colesterol en la sangre, la obesidad y las condiciones de estre\u00f1imiento<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, <strong>esta ra\u00edz es rica<\/strong> en muchos grupos del complejo vitam\u00ednico B como el <strong>\u00e1cido f\u00f3lico<\/strong> (fundamental para el desarrollo neurol\u00f3gico del beb\u00e9), la <strong>vitamina B-6<\/strong> (piridoxina), <strong>tiamina y \u00e1cido pantot\u00e9nico; vitaminas K y E; la antioxidante vitamina C; minerales como hierro, calcio, cobre, potasio, manganeso y f\u00f3sforo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Efecto antic\u00e1ncer:<\/h3>\n<p>Al igual que en las zanahorias y otros miembros de la familia Apiaceae (apio, hinojo, perejil&#8230;) <strong>contiene muchos antioxidantes<\/strong> poli-acetileno como falcarinol, falcarindiol, panaxydiol, y metil-falcarindiol. <strong>Varios estudios de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de cient\u00edficos de la <em>Universidad de Newcastle Upon Tyne<\/em> (1,2) han encontrado que <strong>estos compuestos tienen la funci\u00f3n de anti-inflamatorios, anti-hongos y anti-c\u00e1ncer<\/strong> y ofrecen protecci\u00f3n contra el c\u00e1ncer de colon y la leucemia linfobl\u00e1stica aguda (LLA).<\/p>\n<p>Por todo esto, <strong>el consumo de chiriv\u00eda es beneficioso para: hipertensi\u00f3n, gota, fiebre, retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquido cr\u00f3nica, enfermedades inflamatorias y reum\u00e1ticas, problemas de origen pulmonar; trastornos renales y vesicales (especialmente litiasis); obesidad, estre\u00f1imiento, hipercolesterolemia y probablemente c\u00e1ncer de colon y diferentes tipos de leucemias.<\/strong><br \/>\nAs\u00ed que ya sabes&#8230; \u00a1a comer chiriv\u00eda!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a1Salud para todos!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Bibliograf\u00eda:<\/h2>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>Differential Effects of Falcarinol and Related Aliphatic C17-Polyacetylenes on Intestinal Cell Proliferation. <\/strong>Stig Purup, Eric Larsen, and Lars P.
